OVERVIEW
Nacho trained as a product designer at IED Barcelona before completing a double master's in Innovation Design Engineering at the Royal College of Art and Imperial College London. He pursued a third master's in Big Data in Culture and Society at King's College London. His PhD at Imperial's Dyson School of Design Engineering investigated how people form feelings of psychological ownership over their digital data — developing frameworks that translate behavioural research into actionable design principles for data-centric products.
Over the past years he has applied this approach across domains: gamified health interventions for children, data ownership interfaces, and AI ethics toolkits — collaborating with psychologists, engineers, and policy teams. He has taught behavioural design methods to students at Imperial College and advanced research methods at King's College.
