About
Nacho trained as a product designer at IED Barcelona before completing a double master’s in Innovation Design Engineering at the Royal College of Art and Imperial College London. His PhD at Imperial’s Dyson School of Design Engineering investigated how people form psychological ownership over their digital data — developing frameworks that translate behavioural research into actionable design principles for data-centric products.
Over the past years he has applied this approach across domains: gamified health interventions for children, data ownership interfaces, and AI ethics toolkits — collaborating with psychologists, engineers, and policy teams. He has taught behavioural design methods to students at Imperial College and advanced research methods at King’s College London.
Having lived and worked across Oslo, New Delhi, Jakarta, Madrid, Budapest, Brussels, Barcelona, Mexico City, Athens and London, he designs with an awareness that user needs, mental models, and expectations shift across cultures and contexts.
