Nacho is a designer and user experience researcher based in London. He designs at the intersection of Human-computer interactions, behavioural science, and design research. With a PhD from Imperial College London, he bridges deep user research and interaction design to translate complex behavioural findings into strategic narratives and design recommendations.

OVERVIEW

Nacho trained as a product designer at IED Barcelona before completing a double master’s in Innovation Design Engineering at the Royal College of Art and Imperial College London. His PhD at Imperial’s Dyson School of Design Engineering investigated how people form feelings of psychological ownership over their digital data — developing frameworks that translate behavioural research into actionable design principles for data-centric products.

Over the past years he has applied this approach across domains: gamified health interventions for children, data ownership interfaces, and AI ethics toolkits — collaborating with psychologists, engineers, and policy teams. He has taught behavioural design methods to students at Imperial College and advanced research methods at King’s College London.
